Entrepreneurship Intention of Students of Private Islamic University in Jakarta and the Affecting Factors (1) Universitas Al Azhar Indonesia Abstract This study explains Entrepreneurship Intention of students of private Islamic University in Jakarta and the factors affecting it. The object of the study was 400 respondents from the Faculty of Economics and Business from Al Azhar University of Indonesia and University of Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka. They are considered to represent Private Islamic Universities in Jakarta with accreditation A and B and entre-preneurial concentration in Management Study Program. Compared to previous studies, this study provides an in-depth exploration of dimensions and indicators of entrepreneurship intention through multivariate analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method and specifically individual perception as mediation. The results obtained state that the entrepreneurial intention of students of private Islamic University in Jakarta is formed merely in seriousness in thinking of business operations, yet their desire to have their own business is not too strong. Entrepreneurship Intention is directly influenced by Entrepreneurship Attitude and indirectly influenced by Entrepreneurship Education and Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy through Entrepreneurship Attitude.
